After the gush

I hope everyone is busy with cleaning their houses, shops and establishments as I am. The flood was destructive, devastating and has done enough damage. When I walk through the streets of my town, I feel really sad and depressed but that will not let me down. The outlets, bake shop, grocery store that I used to shop was vandalized beyond recognition. I recollect my grandma telling about floods that happened 40 decades back, but I never expected
something in my lifetime. I have never seen such a destructive face of the river. It was beyond my imagination and let us hope it may not happen again. With prayers, I wish let my fellow people be able to bounce back to the fullest. Apart from all the losses, let it be a great rejuvanation for them. In these days, I spotted some unusual glimpses of the selfhood of Aluva – Our Sivarathri Manappuram and the Temple. Its an exemplar for the aftermath of this devastating floods.
